  13. Okay, I'm sorry if this question has been answered a thousand times before,
  14. but how DO you program shared libraries in assembler?

  16. I am happy with the idea of writing 100% re-entrant, relocatable code - what
  17. I would like is some assistance on the format of a shared library, including
  18. the library source, and the creation of an _LVO offset file.

  20. I have downloaded a file from Aminet which includes a macro for programming a
  21. shared library, but it failed to work on Devpac 3.14 - I am attempting to
  22. communicate with the author of the macro.

  24. Does anybody have any suggestions or advice on writing libraries?  I don't
  25. particularly want to have to spend large quantities of money on the RKMs at
  26. the moment, although I will eventually invest in them.

  28. Incidentally, one of the projects I am starting to work on is the writing of
  29. a client-server system - does anyone else have experience of writing one of
  30. these that may be able to offer advice?
